Every single book in the Hades Hangmen Series is an amazing experience! The violence mixed with the agonizing feelings of despicable acts only make this series addictive. Since It Ain’t Me, Babe, I was waiting for Maddie and Flame’s story! It promised an heart-wrenching romance and I was so right in this assumption! Tillie Cole brings together two lost and broken souls that made me ache, but also filled me with hope for a better future for both.

Flame!!! He’s seriously the most tortured hero I’ve ever read about! The self-mutilation and the huge sentiment of being different and someone not worth loving was excruciating to witness. He made me hurt so bad. But meeting Maddie brings something unknown in him! He’s just so fascinated with the young woman, but doesn’t know how to act around her so he just stalks her. His protective side is just so alluring and sweet! He’s devoted and truly enchanted by the sweet Maddie!

Maddie suffered a whole lot too. She sees the pain inside Flame and wants to help him. She’s so timid and recluse, but Flame gives her strength and she fights to get him to open up to her. They recognize the harsh past they both had and create an unbreakable bond.

This book is about healing mostly. Yes, there’s some acts of violence and suspenseful vibe, but we mostly discover the protagonists and see them heal each other. We hurt with them so much!

Souls Unfractured is a must read! Maddie and Flame have such a special connection and their past is so ugly, but they prove that anything can heal with love and devotion.
