OMG! We're still so early in 2023 but I already have a top favorite read! But it's not truly surprising coming from Devney Perry! Her books always deliver a flawless combination of endearing, emotional, seductive and thrilling aspects. Jasper Vale had all of these qualities and more! I'm a sucker for fake relationship books and I this novel was certainly one of my forever favorite in this trope.
I seriously adored Eloise and Jasper's romance! There was just something so spellbinding about this couple. Despite starting as fake, it was clear from the start that they had a strong chemistry. Their relationship was beautiful and effortless. They had me so in awe! Their sexy times were so hot and explosive too!
As much as I cherished them as a pair, Eloise and Jasper were so interesting as individuals too. They were driven, supportive and truly inspiring. There was a bit of mystery behind Jasper's past that kept me intrigued all read long. I was enamoured by this man who was instantly so protective and caring toward Eloise. Jasper was truly the kind of hero I can't get enough of. Eloise was just too cute with her word vomit moments, lol! She obviously provided some interesting and funny scenes. I also enjoyed her perseverance in achieving her goals and proving her worth to her parents.
The whole Eden clan made this read even more addictive with all their interactions with our main protagonists. It was nice to see all the love and support between these family members. Overall, Jasper Vale was phenomenal and I didn't want this novel to end.
