I was really excited to start this second novel in the Jamison Valley Series, after falling in love with its predecessor, The Coppersmith Farmhouse. The Clover Chapel gripped me right from the start. This second chance romance was so beautiful and sweet.
I'll admit that Nick and Emmeline's romance felt too insta-love for me at first, but the nine years gap was so well done. After marrying in Vegas only hours after meeting each other, this estranged couple remeet by pure coincidence.
Nick is such a protective hero, so attentive to his Emmy! I was really charmed by this sexy firefighter determined to prove that their special bond from years ago was still existing. Their relationship was exquisite and heart-warming. Add a little bit of suspense to the story and you got a winner!
