Oh wow! Shattered Sea was a phenomenal read! I adored everything about this novel! Catherine Cowles has become one of my go-to authors when I'm in need of a great small town romantic suspense. This fourth novel in the Tattered and Torn Series was my absolute favorite!
There was just something so magical about Laiken and Boden. This couple was perfectly matched and the banter between them was effortless, flirty and a pure enjoyment. Boden, despite being a Hollywood star, was really down to earth. He had a beautiful personality and was easily charmed by Laiken. That heroine was amazing in every way. It was great to see her moving on from her difficult past with the help of Boden's caring presence! I was literally entranced by those two fantastic protagonists. Their romance was irresistibly beautiful and sexy at times.
The intrigue that was bursting with suspense kept me hooked all read long. I didn't know what to expect next. I also really appreciated the supporting characters from the the previous novels. They made this read so complete.
Catherine Cowles shaped here a must read romance that left me speechless by it's beauty and surprising twists! Fractured Sky can't release soon enough now! I need more about Shiloh and Ramsey!!!
