It's become the norm for me to be wowed by Meagan Brandy's books! The Deal Dilemma was so freaking good, but also really unexpected in a great way! The story was full of flirty banter, angst, hilarious moments and deeply touching ones. I wasn't expecting the emotional aspect of this story to be so heartbreaking and take me on a suspenseful intrigue too.
I found Davis so endearing with her awkwardness. She was truly a good girl, without judgement. I really enjoyed her character a lot. Crew was just so grumpy and his jealousy had me melting. He was hiding so much inside him. He had me swooning with his irresistible protectiveness. The guy was so far gone for Davis, despite her being oblivious to it.
Davis and Crew were absolutely amazing together. The physical attraction between them was so powerful and palpable. They were pure fire! The slow rebuild of their friendship leading to this gorgeous love story between them had me breathless! They were incredible and fought adversity.
As much as the main couple was the highlight of the book, what made this read even more complete is the supporting characters. Crew's friends, Willie, Julius, Xavier and Layla, were so entertaining. They included Davis so easily in their little circle and it was so nice to witness all the affection and humor between them all.
The Deal Dilemma was an unputdownable romance packed with feels that checked all the boxes! I adored this story and I wouldn't be sad about getting more books set in this world.
