Since the first book in the Love & Lyrics Series I was intrigued about Declan and Kendall. It was clear that Declan was so far gone for the woman of his dreams, but Kendall was somewhat of a mystery with her string of failed relationships. I was delighted to finally get to read their epic love story. Nikki Ash didn't disappoint with this friends to lovers romance that had me swooning so hard.
I adored the way Declan and Kendall had such a strong bond. Their interactions were amusing, flirty and full of repressed attraction. I enjoyed how they spent some time learning more about each other to make evolve their friendship into a stunning romance. Declan was such a devoted hero. After years pinning for Kendall, he was all in once he finally got the chance to prove they could be the perfect match. He was thoughtful, charming, protective and totally irresistible. I had a good time discovering more about Kendall. She wasn't the little sassy girl I met in A Chance Encounter anymore. This heroine had a distorded vision of herself that made her afraid to completely open herself to others. It was beautiful to see her be wholly herself with Dec. When their relationship changed for something more, this couple was pure fire!
Total Chaos was my absolute favorite book so far in the series. It combined all my favorite tropes in romance books! I'm now more than ready for Gage's novel. I feel it's gonna break my heart!
