It’s not a secret that I’m a fan of Kandi Steiner’s writing! There’s always something truly magnetic about her stories and the palpable emotion she delivers with her beautiful prose. Say Yes was such a fantastic read! Set in the 90’s in Florence, Italy, the whole atmosphere of this novel was captivating!
I liked the main protagonists and the evolution of their relationship during the book. Harley and Liam are so different, that at first they clash, but after sharing their first ‘Yes Night’, a different connection is forged. Harley is always seeking perfection in her art and every other facets of her life. Liam is carefree most of the time and shows her that there’s beauty in a little chaos. He's set on making her truly live! He’s a man still haunted by a tragic event of his past and navigating life through highs and lows. He was intriguing to say the least with his hot and cold behavior toward Harley. Sometimesbeing cocky and charming, and other times being so closed off. He was certainly an interesting hero!
This couple’s relationship grew beautifully from a somewhat rivalry, to friendship to so much more! I really enjoyed the feelings I got from watching these two creating a gorgeous bond!
Say Yes had me enthralled from start to finish! This is definitely a great book if you’re looking from a story that will make you travel across the globe and time!
