Never Look Back is undoubtedly the best book yet in the Redemption Hills Series in my opinion. It's a huge statement considering I adored the previous two novels in the series. This time around, A.L. Jackson captured my heart with the second chance romance full of angst and emotion between Logan, the younger of the Lawson brothers, and his first and only love, Aster.
There was just something so powerful between this couple. Every single time they were together, there was sparks flying. The animosity of their reunion was charged with underlying passion and so much hurt. I enjoyed discovering through the flashback chapters the start and demise of their relationship, years earlier.
As it was the case with the other books of the Redemption Hills Series, the suspense was omnipresent. The intrigue had me hooked and guessing all read long. The romance between Logan and Aster was purely magnificent! I loved, loved, loved revisiting the side characters! This group is so interesting and supportive of each other. I appreciate the Lawson brothers and their ladies so much, but let's not forget Tessa and her crazy antics. I'm definitely sold on her novel coming next, Promise Me Always!
Never Look Back was purely brilliant!!!
