I can’t believe the Deliver Us From Evil Trilogy is now over! I was wholly invested in this series for all three books and… WOW! This conclusion to the series was everything I wanted and so much more! Monica James didn’t disappoint with this final installment with all the twists and turns and the rush of emotions it provided.
Punky and Camilla astounded me once more! I already adored these multi-layered protagonists, but this novel only cemented their impressive qualities. Their path was paved with so many huddles, full of violence, treason and manipulation. Their morals were tested, new alliances forged, big revelations put a stop to some of their plans, but they kept fighting till the end. I lived this story bursting with surprises and darkness, but that also put my heart in a vice from the influx of profound feelings. Between gasps of shock and wicked grins of exaltation, I also fan myself from the combustible passion between Punky and his Babydoll and shed a few tears at profoundly touching moments. This was truly a rollercoaster ride of the best kind with this amalgam of potent feels!
I’m stupefied by Monica James’ talent at writing the best kind of dark romances! No only she creates incomparable heroes, but she makes you feel so connected to their quest that you can’t help to completely get lost in her stories! Deliver Us From Evil is a top favorite read of mine this year without a doubt! I’ll miss this world very much, but with that teasing perfect epilogue there’s maybe hope for more! Fingers crossed for what’s next because it would be so freaking fantastic. I’m already salivating over the potential of a spin-off book / series!
