I've read all of Monica James's books, needless to say I jumped on her newest release written in collaboration with Michelle Lancaster. Truthfully, I don't know what to think of Crybaby. It was pure insanity and all over the place. I get the concept of revenge and I love my books dark, but Darcie and Rev's actions were pure violence and so twisted. I'll admit I enjoyed some aspect of their personalities and discovering more about their past, but their thirst for vengeance was too much for me. A lot of things didn't make sense in this story and I thought about DNF, but utimately there were answers I needed so I kept reading. I know a lot of people will enjoy the darkness of this novel, so make your own opinion and jump in the rabbit hole.
