Since reading A Chance Encounter a few months back, I was so excited to get a book about Easton and Sophia's son, Camden, and his band. Controlled Chaos started the Love and Lyrics Series with a bang! It was another delicious story from Nikki Ash. I savored every word of this friends to lovers, single mom, rockstar romance packed with emotion, romance, humor and sensuality.
Layla and Camden were one upon a time the best of friends. Tragic circumstances broke their friendship, but years later they reconnect at one of his shows. Camden's romantic feelings for Layla haven't diminish despite the distance and time. Now is finally his chance to prove to her they could be perfect together.
I loved their effortless connection so much. It was interesting to get chapters set in the past, explaining the start of their relationship and why they never took it to the next level. It was so clear they were made for each other! In every interaction they were truly magnetic! The rebuilt of their relationship was gorgeous. Their romance was really lovely and their steamy encounters sinfully hot.
I enjoyed the supporting characters a lot too. Little Felix was the cutest! The guys from the band were all so interesting in their own way and I just can't wait for their novels too. They promise intense moments and surely heartbreak! Controlled Chaos was a fabulous read and I need more from this world!
