Catherine Cowles kept the best for last in her captivating Tattered and Torn Series! Fractured Sky was simply phenomenal! I was instantly hooked by its main couple and all the beauty and feelings this novel contained.
I was sincerely intrigued about Shiloh from the previous books. The young woman enjoyed solitude and escaped all confrontation after the trauma of her youth. Her favorite place to break away to was Ramsey Bishop's ranch. For years, she had the same routine of spending hours watching the man train abused horses and they established an understanding without never speaking to each other.
This duo was similar in so many ways, because Ramsey too was hiding a hurtful past. The man was closed off, misunderstood and lived for his isolation. I guess they were only waiting for each other to help heal from their past. Seriously, it was purely magical to witness Shiloh and Ramsey together. Their romance was a slow burn that started with a sincere friendship filled with attraction that evolved into a powerful love. Their connection was sublime and every single moment between them was treasured. This couple was simply dreamy!
Ramsey was absolutely irresistible. He was so protective and patient with Shiloh. It was lovely to see Shiloh finally moving on from her kidnapping. She found her voice and her transformation to a courageous woman was inspiring!
I can't believe Fractured Sky was the last novel in the Tattered and Torn Series! Oh, how I loved all these fantastic characters through the five books. I'll miss this world, but I'm sure Ms Cowles has other incredible stories in store with her next series. And hopefully we'll get cameo from the Wolf Gap gang.
