Awww! This second novel in the Sutter Lake Series was so beautiful and sweet mixed with the right dose of suspense. Beautifully Broken Life is an inspiring, small town romance where two lost souls meet find solace in each other. They learn to trust and not be afraid of opening up to others and love! Tessa and Liam gave my heart palpitations with the adorable slow burn of their romance. They have an instant connection, but Tessa’s hard past in an abusive relationship makes her skittish of everyone, mostly men. Liam isn’t deterred in his courtship of the young woman and shows her how dreamy he can be. Seriously, this star musician on the hiding, is so much more than the public personality. He’s a country boy at heart, so protective and respectful of Tessa. They’re just so lovely together and filled my stomach with butterflies with their gorgeous love story. I enjoyed seeing a little bit of all the characters that were present in the previous Beautifully Broken Pieces. The Cole family is so amazing and welcoming. There’s never a dull moment at these family reunions. With the threats of her Tessa’s past gradually resurfacing, the intrigue took flight and captured my whole attention. I’m totally charmed by this universe and all the happy feelings it delivers! I was delighted by this read and can't wait to start the next book in the Sutter Lake Series. I'm really intrigued about Jensen and Tuck's dynamic, so needless to say I need to read Beautifully Broken Spirit asap!
