OMG! What did I just read? For months, I impatiently waited for The Goddess Isles Series and its first novel, Once A Myth, assuredly lived up to my expectations! With her enchanting prose, Pepper Winters transported me into a delirious world of dark desires that had me hooked! The main protagonists are just pure fire together, but also very alluring and intriguing individually! Eleanor Grace might be one of my favorite heroine from this author. There’s just something so fierce and resilient about that young woman. She’s faced with a cruel future when she’s abducted and brought to the Goddess Isles and learns her twisted fate, but she still has fight in her. The sexy and enigmatic owner of this paradisiac islands, Sullivan Sinclair, elicits a confusing sexual craving mixed with an intense hate. She doesn’t bow to his commanding presence, but goes head to head with him only creating more friction that turns into wanton fantasies. Sully is truly a magnetic hero with his charismatic attitude and formidable presence! His savage attraction to his newest goddess is special and instant, but he fights his inner desire to nearly the breaking point. He’s such a mystery and his reasons to resist this temptation is certainly intriguing. I need to learn more about Sully! This couple and all their back and forth is certainly titillating! I adored every single instant of this read that kept me fascinated. This story started dark and turned to highly sensual and mystical. There’s so much more I need to discover about this universe of perverse dreams! My trip to the Goddess Isles ended abruptly with a cliffhanger I didn’t see coming and I so want Twice A Wish now! Pepper Winters wrote here another highly addicting series that promises a wild, devious ride and hours of pleasure! I loved, loved, loved Once A Myth!
