This last book in Alessio and Ayla’s trilogy was absolutely mesmerizing once again! Bursting with feels that got to me profoundly, The Mafia and his Angel Part 3 was the best in the series. I didn’t think I could love these characters more than I already did, but I was so wrong! I discovered a deeper bond than ever between all of them, showing the perfect family the Ivanshovs are. I still can’t believe it took me this long before reading this masterpiece of a series. Ayla still has a hard road to recovery and shows strength that had me in awe of her. With all the brutal treatments she suffered throughout her life and more recently, she could easily give up completely, but there’s still some determination in her. Alessio’s unflinching devotion brings her back to life! He’s her strength in her darkest days! I can’t explain how much I love this hero. He’s so callous and imperious, but Ayla exposes his caring, sweet and breakable side, which make him even more attractive in my eyes! Their love story isn’t the easiest one in this lawless world of crime, but it’s quite inspiring to witness their level of commitment and faith in each other. The intrigue takes us deeper into the rivalry between the Ivanshovs and Abandonatos until the very final confrontation. As a mafia romance, this story is dark and violent, but we also experience true romance and humor. The explosion of emotions I got from this book was overwhelming! It broke me, it healed me, it made me laugh, cry and smile a lot! Ultimately, it made me feel so much! The Mafia and his Angel Part 3 is my favorite read so far this year and will certainly stays in my list of favorites! Lylah James stole my whole heart with this epic couple that I won’t forget soon! Now, I’m really intrigued about the other Ivanshov men and really excited for their books!
