⭐️ 4 STARS ⭐️ Guys Like You is a short and very sexy read! I’m not the biggest fan of novellas in general, but I couldn’t resist reading Halston and Sully’s story! I was intrigued about their hot and cold relationship from previously reading Bad Influence and they certainly didn’t disappoint. What starts as a drunken one-night stand turns into an irresistible pull between the two. They fight their feelings and try to keep it casual, but they’re just a perfect fit and it becomes more without them knowing. Sully’s playful personality completely charmed me. As much as he’s a player, Halston brings the sweet and thoughtful guy in him. This girl is strong and independent! She’s not afraid to speak her mind, but you feel her heart is fragile and she’s afraid to open it to love. Their sexy encounters are so hot I was certain my kindle would catch on fire! FAST BREAK by KENNEDY RYAN

I’ve been a fan of the Hoops Series since Long Shot so it’s a no brainer I was eager to get my hands on Fast Break. This novella was everything I expected and more. Quinn is an heroine I was curious about after seeing glimpses of her in previous books of the series. She’s a fighter and I was really moved by her resilience. She’s a true inspiration! Coach Ean Jagger is a taciturn man, always thinking about the game he’s passionate about: basketball! He keeps to himself and might appear cold, but he’s sweet and I swooned over that aspect of his personality! Seriously that man is so romantic! He’s been attracted by the strong woman for years, but when he finally meets her he finds the courage to ask her out. She’s not easily convinced, but he perseveres and it’s truly so endearing the way he goes to get to her. Their chemistry is fantastic! As any Kennedy Ryan’s book, this one made an impact on me and delivers a significant message of courage and fighting the obstacles life throws at you!

DEAR AVA by ILSA MADDEN-MILLS

I absolutely adored Dear Ava! Everything about this novella was engaging all read long. This is exactly what a NA sports romance should be like and Ilsa Madden-Mills shows again her great aptitude at writing those types of stories! I enjoyed the characters, but most of all the intrigue behind Ava’s sordid attack and the answers she seeks about that night. This girl is truly fierce and shows a strong front when she goes back to Camden Prep and faces the Sharks, the leaders of the school. She’s surrounded by Knox, the cold quarterback, everywhere she goes. The banter between those two is amazing and their chemistry undeniable. This guy is so much more than what he lets her think. He’s truly caring and is her silent protector! The only thing I didn’t like about this book… it was too short! But I’m really glad to know that it will be written as a full length novel next year! I need more of this couple, but also Camden Prep and its crowd!
