There’s always something absolutely fascinating with Kandi Steiner’s writing. Her prose is so beautiful and makes her books even more touching. On the Rocks sounded absolutely amazing just from the blurb, but I wasn’t expecting to fall this much in love with this story.

Noah Becker is a fantastic hero. That man is such a flirt and I loved everything about him. He’s the town’s bad boy, but underneath it all he’s just waiting for “the one”. He unexpectedly finds her in the form of the snobbish mayor’s daughter, Ruby Grace Barnett. I enjoyed every single time he cracks jokes and sexy innuendos to make the girl blush. He’s such a great guy, so caring.
Ruby Grace is in town to prepare her wedding to a high profile man, making her family so proud. When she meets Noah, there’s a certain aversion to his rude attitude, but a fierce attraction is simmering between them nonetheless. Her stuck-up attitude is only a front to please her parents and fiancé, because under her layers we discover a genuine girl only wanting simple things in life.
The forbidden relationship this couple slowly develops is utterly beautiful, yet poignant. The romance is seriously so lovely and made made heart full. Noah and Ruby ignites into passion in the most exquisite ways when they’re together.

On the Rocks is a sweet small town romance with all the feels! I swooned so hard over the gorgeousness of this story and I’m more than intrigued about the other Beckers boys now! I can’t wait for their own novels!
