I really appreciated reading I Dare You. It’s a light and funny college romance that made me smile and laugh a lot. A nerdy girl and the most popular football player on campus share an unexpectedly sweet connection in this charming story! Ilsa Madden-Mills truly brought the swoon factor with her new hero Maverick Monroe!

I liked that Maverick is more than the stereotypical dumb manwhore jock. He’s cocky for sure, but under all his smug front he hides a beautiful personality. He really cares for Delaney. From their first meeting their freshman year, she’s been on his mind. Now juniors, he can’t miss his chance to make her his when she’s finally single.
I enjoyed their funny banters and sweet moments together. Their texting alternates between hilarious, sexy and completely adorable. This method of communication between them really forges a definite bond between them! Delaney is also such a pleasing heroine. I loved her nerdiness with her love for cats, Star Wars and The Princess Bride in particular. She assumes her preferences and differences; she’s totally genuine!
While the story has a humorous tone mostly, Maverick has to deal with more serious matters that put him in a difficult situation. Those scenes touched me and had me in awe of this dreamy hero. He’d do anything for his loved ones!

Ilsa Madden-Mills treated her readers with a lovely story once again! Her characters are endearing and interesting and the storyline is delightful!
