This last installment in the Indebted Series is where everything is finally revealed. Pepper Winters gives her readers an history lesson on the debt inheritance and the motivations behind her characters’ actions. I really enjoyed the story, but I must admit I felt it could have been a little shorter. A got bored with some parts where the story wasn’t progressing fast enough for me.
Final Debt is a whirlwind of events and exudes a very different vibe than the other books of the series. Jethro once again shows his unparalleled devotion to Nila by trying to save her from an awful fate at the hands of Cut and Daniel. He’s almost always two steps behind, but he has allies to help him achieves his ultimate goal.
After some down periods, Nila’s tenacity is back in this novel. She won’t let go before it’s over and she fights hard to keep breathing and living. She sacrifices some parts of her in the way, but her fierceness that I admired from the start of the series is definitely back.
The Indebted Series is a must read! I enjoyed it so much from start to finish even if I have preferred the first few novels. Each of these six books brought something important to the story and showed a growing in the characters. The flow of the writing and all the emotions it evokes is phenomenal. Every scene between Nila and Jethro is pure love with sparks of intensity. I highly recommend this amazing series!!
