K. Webster did the trick again and released a surprise little taboo novella. Her books are always a steamy delight and automatic one-clicks.
Crybaby is the story of Drew Hamilton a physical therapist and his much younger and jailbait patient Sophia Rowe. She’s hurting from a bad injury she got playing softball and is very bitter about being crippled. She’s in pain and makes it know quite hardly in her therapy sessions. Drew is set on taming her tough attitude between closed doors and between his sheets.
They share a kind of love-hate relationship at first, but soon the attraction between these two can’t be denied and they enter a very forbidden affair. I really enjoyed the sexy moments they share and they’re quite numerous for the short length of the story. Everything is developing pretty fast in the story and I felt like some parts were rushed and came from nowhere, but considering it’s a novella I still am satisfied with this smutty read.
I got what I was looking for with Crybaby. A short read with an alpha hero with a dirty mouth and really steamy scenes to blush over.
