K. Webster surpasses the bounds of right and wrong with The Wild. This highly taboo romance is good and well delivered. She achieves to make you believe in the relationship between the hero and heroine even if it’s immoral.
I won’t tell you much about the plot, because I really don’t want to reveal to much of the story but prepare to be shocked, baffled and turned on by this unique story. The author does a great job explaining the conflicting feelings the characters are living through with their forbidden situation. I like that nothing is black or white in their choice and it’s a struggle to accept their tainted feelings. While the society condemn their actions, in the wild everything is possible and they can live free of the opinion of others.
The Wild is a ride into the unspeakable that will leave you scandalized or in admiration of K. Webster’s talent. I’ll admit this book isn’t my favorite by this author I love and isn’t for everyone as it can offend easily, but I still enjoyed it.
