K. Webster never misses the mark. With each new release, she always succeeds with fascinating me with a unique storyline full of twists. As I was expecting, Notice was once again one of these books. It wasn’t really dark in my opinion, but still got a strange vibe. I adored this story and was hooked from the start.
Violet is tired of feeling ignored in her job as an assistant, but the day she gives her notice, she finally gets noticed by her sexy boss Grayson Maxwell. From that moment begins a fast-paced ride into obsession. I loved Gray and his creepy personality and dirty mouth. When he’s focused on Violet, there’s nothing else that matters. It brings disturbing moments as well as incredibly hot ones. K. Webster has a flair in writing unusually strange characters that you always end up falling in love with. Violet is another interesting female lead. She has a dark past and is always looking behind her back, afraid her ex will come back. Her relationship with Gray is just so steamy and their passion is explosive.
I don’t think I’ve ever read a book by K. Webster I didn’t like. She’s a great storyteller, knows how to write scorching hot scenes and charming protagonists, while always bringing genuinely unexpected twists into her stories. Notice was absolutely remarkable with all these factors. This story had me completely mesmerized. Another must-read!
