How We Fall is such a gorgeous book. Melissa Toppen clutched at my sentiments with her pretty words and the beautiful atmosphere of this story.
Melanie and Cole met when they were ten years old and it was love at first sight. It took them years to realize the meaning of these bourgeoning feelings and when they finally did, fear of breaking their long friendship let them passes next to this amazing love. They’re six years without seeing each other, but when a tragic event thrown them back together again, these long lived feelings are still the same. It’s now time for them to really take what they’ve always wanted.
This romance was brilliantly written and the little glimpses into Melanie and Cole’s childhood were so sweet. Seeing their growing feelings, never realizing they were reciprocated was heart-breaking. They still share a deep emotional attachment and everything is so effortless between them. Their relationship is lovely and breathtaking. They just make this romance between them flourish slowly without forcing anything and it’s splendid to witness.
