Once again, K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield gave us a solid story with Hate 2 Lovers. The repartees between Andie and Roman are extremely hilarious and I found myself grinning and giggling so many times during this read.
While we met Andie’s wild personality in Text 2 Lovers, we also witness a softer side of her in this novel. I really enjoyed seeing this new side of her where she’s closer to her emotions and open up about her fears and buried wants. And Roman… how I love this man. It was already an established fact after reading the first book, but in this one he upped his game even more. He goes to great lengths to prove to Andie that she’s the only one for him and he sees a future with her.
They’re so passionate and it makes very steamy scenes. They fight, they challenge, they pretend to hate, but mostly they love each other! This undeniable fact is so beautifully reflected in their tumultuous relationship.
This series is so entertaining and its characters endearing. While there’s some over the top scenes, there’s also sweet ones that made me smile so big. Another diverting read by this duo of authors and a great introduction for Reagan and Linc’s story. I’m so eager to see Roman and Ram playing the over-protective big brothers in Thieves 2 Lovers.
