O.M.G., this book was a real roller-coaster ride with revelations after revelations. The last few chapters were completely electrifying with all the secrets revealed and others added into the mix.
Like it was the case in The Pawn, Avery and Gabriel still have this unbelievable attraction between them. While Avery isn’t sure about Gabriel’s motivation, her body still craves him. Together they’re pure perfection with the passion they generate. Scorching scenes are the foundation of their relationship, but in between them we can see deeper feelings developing. Gabriel isn’t only the hard business man he’s known to be. With Avery he lets his guard down a little more with every pages.
This read was a hurricane of intrigue based on deception. New players entered the story to make this suspense even more addictive.
Skye Warren proved her incredible talent in The Knight with her words woven with secrecy and emotion. I loved Avery and Gabriel’s journey across the truth of her past. Can’t wait to have all these mysteries finally resolved in The Castle.
