Twisted Palace starts right where Broken Prince ended with Reed in an arduous situation. He’s falsely accused of a murder and the whole novel revolves around this mystery. Who’s the real killer? Who’s trying to trap Reed? Ella is more than determined to prove Reed’s innocence, but even she has still some doubts about him. But she would do anything for her boyfriend and she proves it time and time again in this installment.
There’s also a new player in town, always making things difficult for the young couple. When I say I don’t like him it’s an understatement. Ella and Reed’s meaningful romance isn’t so well viewed from this person and they need to use their creativity to come up with plans to see each other. The relationship between Ella and the Royal boys is once again very strong and I really like seeing all of them together as a unit.
As in the previous books of the series, secrets, mysteries and betrayal are welcome in the world of the Royals. We navigate between these and I can say I’ve been speechless more than once during this read, amazed by the turn of events the book took.
Twisted Palace is a terrific conclusion to this epic series. Hope to see new spin-off books with these Royals in the future. They completely ruined me!
