Women loathed me without even knowing my name. Men coveted the very idea of me. Escort. Call girl. Prostitute. Hooker. Whore. I'd heard it all. Done it all. Over the years I'd felt a lot of things about my occupation...but not regret--never regret. I had my reasons for doing what I did and nothing and no one had ever made me question them. UNTIL MARCO VALENTI. He'd changed me and I'd naively fed into the fairy tale. But Marco wasn't my Prince Charming. He had secrets of his own. Secrets that would eventually rip away everything I held dear.

For a few weeks now, this book was sitting on my to-read list. When I first saw the hot cover and the synopsis for the book I was really curious about it. I haven't been disappointed, because it was very good, and I'm still in shock about the cliffhanger ending!

Emily is an escort, known under the name Brandi. She has a very good reason to work in this field; she's the only provider for her son who needs special cares. One night, she meets a new client, and soon finds herself under his charm. Marco Valenti is an enigmatic sexy Italian. At first he seems cold and there's a cloud of mystery surrounding him, but with times you realize he's also different from her other clients. Marco is really intriguing with is contradicting personally; he can be sweet and soon morphed himself into dominant mode. He respects "Brandi" for the person she is and not what she does for a living, and wants all of her either way. I loved the suspense and mystery brought by the threatening people after Marco. What's Marco's secret? I still can't figure out what these people wants from him! Emily is also a pleasant character. She's strong with all the adversity she faced in her young life and her projects for the future. She really assumes the job she's doing even if it's not her ideal, but it's a necessity. I couldn't help but be amazed by her strength. Marco and Brandi together, wow! I truly believed in their feelings! They shared an unquestionable attraction and their sexy scenes were steamy. In spite of the way they met, it's not a superficial thing between them but feelings running deep. I loved seeing their romance unfold! I can't pass over Daniel, the son of Emily. Despite his sad fate, he seems like a kid living with joy and happiness in his life.

I can't wait to read the next installment of this romantic suspense series. The cliffhanger at the end left me with apprehension for Burn. I'm excited to unveiled the big mystery behind the threats on Marco and Emily. This book will leave you with a lot of questions that's for sure!
