I couldn't wait to read to story of June after having a little glimpse of her in Until July. This was a very good read like always with Aurora's books with an alpha and over-protective hero and a strong heroine. This novel is about second chances, love and the power of the BOOM!

June Mayson has been struggling this past year since Evan Barrister her ex-husband divorced her without daring seeing her face to face. In fact she's in pain but not many people in her life knows why, because her entire relationship with Evan was hidden from them. They married before he went to boot camp for the marines, but at his return from Afghanistan he was a different man and thought he wasn't good enough for her after living hard events oversea.

"She wasn't important - she was fucking vital, the best thing that ever happened to me. But then I had t let her go so my fucked up didn't ruin her."

June tried to get over Evan by dating Aaron for a few months, who she later discovered was drug dealer named Lane now being in jail. The males in her family being extremely protective decide to have guys looking out for her in case there's repercussions from the bad people her ex was working for. Guess who's assigned to keep her safe?? Evan her sexy as hell ex-husband who she's still in love with, even if she's denying it to herself.

"It's the realization that we're done that's torturing me. The realization that I can see him but can't touch him, that he exists but he's not mine, is agonizing."

They both tries to stay away from one another, but they soon find themselves in the arms of each others ready to start a new relationship. The past year, Evan had time to regret his decision to let June go, and he's ready to fight for her to start their life together. He's a really good dirty talker which bring steamy scenes between the couple.

In spite of their unchanged feelings, June can't express them out loud while Evan is all about declaring his love for June. I also like that Evan isn't afraid of June's dad (Asher, my favorite Mayson guy!!). When Asher learns the whole story about June and Evan, ooooh!! Evan is really good at redeeming himself and this time he's all in.

"I'll always love you enough for the both of us. always."

The book also contained a little suspense and action, but I thought it was too rushed and not enough developed. But I still love to see in every new book, the same lovable characters of the Mayson family. And the force of this book is really the characters personality and the heat level. If you're in search of a real HOT book boyfriend, I recommend Until June to you. Also if you haven't read the Until and Until Him series, I highly recommend it to add to your read.
