Richer Than Sin is the start of new enthralling trilogy! Meghan March has a convincing ability to get you immersed in her novels from the first few lines! After the intense prologue that left me with many questionings, I was already hooked on Lincoln and Whitney’s love story! I was more than intrigued by the old family feud between the Riscoffs and Gables and the way it played a role in the disintegration of this couple’s relationship.

Whitney Gable is recently a widow and the subject of intimidation from her late rock star husband’s fans. She is back in her little town of Gable after ten years away to help with her cousin’s upcoming wedding and find peace. She tries he best to stay clear of Lincoln Riscoff, but they still share such a magnetic connection each time they cross path. Their chemistry is intense, but the painful memories they share fuel the hostility between them!
Lincoln is a determined man and having Whitney back in his life is the only thing he’ll accept! I prized the way he loved her still as much after all this time. His grief from losing her is so palpable! Lincoln is truly an admirable hero. He’s the heir to a million-dollar fortune, but he’s not your typical arrogant jerk. He’s privileged but doesn’t use it as a way to dominate.

The more I learned about their romantic bond through the flashback chapters spread throughout the story, the more I was hooked by this doomed couple. When Lincoln meets Whitney, she’s just a girl he’s so attracted to! Discovering her true identity as a Gable doesn’t change the way he views her. She’s still someone worth his time and attention. He’s so sweet with her and his gentle heart shows in the way he treats her with care. You clearly feel their deep-rooted feelings for each other, but there’s so many obstacles in the way of their happiness.
While this is a serious story with an enigmatic vibe and passionate scenes, there’s also some amusing moments scattered here and there. The confrontation between old Commodore Riscoff and Magnus Gable had me grinning. These old men know how to entertained with their firm hatred for each other!

The last few chapters were a rush of sensations and revelations! I feel it’s only the beginning of this scandalous exposition of secrets. Meghan March flawlessly shaped an addictive world of old rivalry with an exquisite hopeless love story entwined in mystery. That cliffhanger had me so stunned! I can’t wait for the continuation of this electrifying series with Guilty as Sin!
