Teacher / student and forbidden romance are one of my favorite tropes to read. I can’t believe Misbehaved was lost in my pile of to-be-read books! Honestly, I’ve loved every single book Charleigh Rose wrote and this one was another winner for me!

Remington Stringer is such an interesting heroine! She’s a rebel and a little temptress and I loved her personality and boldness throughout the story. She’s from the wrong side of Las Vegas, but her biggest wish is to get away from her rough neighborhood after she finished high school. While she acts all sassy and mighty, she also shows a side of vulnerability under her hard shield. She’s not as strong as she wants to show everyone. Her multi-faceted behaviour made her so fascinating.
Mr. James. Pierce James. How I enjoyed this sexy teacher. He likes to act cold, but it’s a front for the forbidden fruit that is Remi. He has secrets and a past that is slowly destroying him, but her defiant attitude makes him feel alive. His past is connected to Remi in some ways and we slowly navigate the story with pieces of elements added to discover the link between them.
Those two have an explosive chemistry and all the temptation is so powerful. I loved how Remi always finds ways to provoke Pierce! The flirting and teasing had me hooked! They are scorching hot, but also sweet together! He’s so protective of her and I thought it was so endearing.

While the romance part was so good, the whole storyline with the enigmatic vibe was also exhilarating. I went through all kind of emotions with this read! Charleigh Rose shaped a frankly remarkable story that forbidden love fans will assuredly love!
