I’d been awaiting Dirty Sexy Player since Weston and Elizabeth rivalry was first mentioned in The Dirty Duet. There was just something about them that had me so fascinated and it promised some really angsty moments with charged sexual tension. Laurelin Paige shaped here a complex storyline filled with compelling temptation and wicked games.
Weston is known as a player! He’s the co-CEO of a multi-million-dollar business with his best friend Donovan Kincaid and seizes all the benefits of this privileged life. He’s different from he’s commanding friend with a more playful attitude, but he also has his own dark secrets! The day he meets Elizabeth, you feel the challenge she brings in him. The sassy blonde is the perfect person to put him in his place. The attraction is there, but their relationship is only a scam and they play each other so well! While they slowly grow closer, some revelations about each other menace their new found “real” romance!
I must admit that I was expecting more angst and chemistry between Weston and Elizabeth. While it was present, I would have wanted more feels behind it. Toward the end of the novel though, this couple was exactly on the level of penetrating passion I wanted.
The ending of Dirty Sexy Player left me overwhelmed! I just want more of this powerful couple. They captivated me and I’m eager to see what’s in the cards for them next in Dirty Sexy Games!
