⭐️ 5+ "When It Feels Right" Stars ⭐️ After the way Wanting Mr. Cane concluded, I was so eager to finally get my hands on Breaking Mr. Cane. Shanora Williams has a way to get you hooked on her stories and this novel blew my mind! I was expecting to love it, but it was even better than I could have wanted! Through sorrow, desire, love, drama, Kandy and Cane’s story continues with everything in place to get you completely addicted!

Their love is once again tested in this second installment when they are separated while Kandy is away at college. You feel them both struggle with this distance and trying to move on like they promised each other. That first part of the book helps exploring more in depth both characters and understand their forbidden fascination! It really got to me seeing them both apart, but I felt their deep-rooted love flowing through the pages. I loved discovering more about Cane’s tough past. He is so mysterious and has a dark aura surrounding him, but he slowly exposes a little more of his background in this book. He’s imposing and magnetic, but every time he’s with Kandy you feel him melt under her charm. Kandy once again shows an impressive maturity for her age! She weights the choices and actions she makes, but still has this genuine innocence. She tries to move on by embracing her college life, but her heart isn’t totally there. You clearly feel the missing parts of her with the absence of Cane!

This star-crossed couple gave me chills from his beauty! In spite of the age gap and the circumstances of this unconventional bond, this book demonstrates superbly the palpability of Kandy and Cane’s love! They bring the heat to a new level with an atmosphere charged with searing lust, but also profound affection. I loved that they are so transparent toward each other about what this relationship means to them! They bare their hearts and souls and it’s spectacular to witness! Breaking Mr. Cane features a lot of electrifying drama with threats about exposing Cane’s gloomy past, but also with Kandy’s parents fuming about Cane’s deceit with their daughter. I was so excited when Draco Molina, The Venom Trilogy’s main protagonist was mentioned! Those books are one of my absolute favorite dark romances, so I can’t wait to see how those two series will merge together. We had little peeks at Cane’s relationship with Draco, but the whole plot will be explored in the next novel and I’m ecstatic. I’m sure this upcoming book will be explosive!
