⭐️ 4 "Healing Scars" Stars ⭐️
With the way Clipped Wings ended, I was so glad to have Inked Armor already waiting for me. This conclusion to Tenley and Hayden’s story was painful, but also healing for these two broken characters. I really enjoyed it!

Inked Armor answered a lot of the questions I had running through my mind during Clipped Wings. It is definitely more suspenseful as we get hints about the horrific event in Hayden’s past. There’s also the unknown Hayden’s facing about his relationship with Tenley when she leaves town without notice to deal with her past in first few chapters. He definitely has some trouble dealing with these trials piling up bringing nightmares and heartbreak! I hurt for him and felt his anguish and sadness!
“I can’t lose you. I need you so much, it hurts.”
Tenley and Hayden’s feelings only grow during this book, but there’s so many obstacles in their way. They still have a lot to learn about each other and secrets waiting to be revealed making their relationship shaky at moments. The love they have for each other is shining through the pages though!
“You’re so beautiful, and I’m ruining you.”
I’m very satisfied with de development of the story, but I wish the last few chapters hadn’t been this rushed! Overall, the Clipped Wings Series is really worth the read and Inked Armor concluded this couple’s love story in a beautiful way.
