Emotion tells us how we feel, but life...life has a way of plunging us in boiling water, burning away our illusions, testing our faith, trying our convictions. Love floating is a butterfly, but love tested is an anchor. For Grip and Bristol Love started at the top of the world On a Ferris wheel under the stars But when that love is tested, will they fly or fall?.

⭐️ 5 "Love. Strength. Courage." Stars ⭐️

Wow! I’ve just finished Still and I have no words. My heart is hurting, but also filled with so much love for Grip and Bristol. This second installment about their story is very different than the first one, but is however as much powerful. While the subject of racism is still an omnipresent subject of this novel, it’s the struggle for their love that’s outstanding. Watching their love evolve and grow through every word, every sentence and every chapter was purely beautiful.

“You’re my end game, Grip. Any hurdle we face, we’ll overcome it together. Nothing will stop us.”

In Still, Bristol and Grip display to strength of their love and beliefs time and time again. The struggles of being an interracial couple is still a debate that they need to explain and defend with passion. All these battles only bring them closer. There’s moments where they could drift from each other, but they know the significance of their love that’s a once in lifetime kind.

“You are as fundamental as the breath in my lungs, as much a part of me as the blood flowing through my body.

Grip and Bristol also experience some other difficulties in their relationship. They need to lean on each other and find courage and OMG… How much courage they show us? Being brave doesn’t always mean you don’t hurt, but you survive the bad moments. It completely astounded me the level of fierce bravery they show together. My heart was breaking with theirs, but also bursting with so much awe for their attitude toward this curveball life threw their way.

“Our hearts are wrapped around one another, joined. I honestly believe I can survive anything if Bristol is by my side.”

Still is surely another little gem to treasure! The level of feels this books will extract from you is phenomenal. Kennedy Ryan crafted another story I won’t forget anytime soon. Bristol and Grip are graved in my memory. Always, evermore, even after. Still.
