On the Way to You is an splendidly poignant story. Kandi Steiner created two beautiful damaged characters discovering themselves in their journey across the country.

Cooper is trapped in Mobile, Alabama, dreaming of better things for her life. When Emery Reed ends up in the small diner where she works at and offers her to take part in his road trip to Seattle, it’s a life changing moment for her. While traveling across the country, they learn about each other and experience new adventures. For maybe the first time in their lives, they both feel alive.
Cooper can finally feel a little bit of freedom. I enjoyed her genuinely naïve personality. She doesn’t judge Emery when he’s in his head and just keep supporting him. Emery is a good guy and definitely treats Cooper well in spite of his darker moments. The romantic side of their relationship develops gradually and is really lovely.
On the Way to You definitely deals with a misunderstood subject matter, but it’s so well integrated to the story. Kandi Steiner delivers on the emotional level and left me in tears over the absolute beauty and heartbreak of Cooper and Emery’s journey. I can’t recommend enough this story.

KANDI STEINER
Kandi Steiner is a Creative Writing and Advertising/Public Relations graduate from the University of Central Florida living in Tampa. Kandi works full time as a social media specialist, but also works part time as a Zumba fitness instructor and blackjack dealer.
Kandi started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic (like most girls brought up on Disney movies).
When Kandi isn’t working or writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys beach days, movie marathons, live music, craft beer and sweet wine – not necessarily in that order.
