Temporary Boyfriend is a really enjoyable book. Although I had some difficulty connecting with the first few chapters, I soon found myself immersed in this beautiful story.
Piper always felt lacking in the eyes of her parents and siblings. Single, working a job she loves but her family doesn’t accept, she needs to find the perfect man to bring home for the holidays. That’s why she hires Matthew, a sexy escort, checking all those cases.
Over the few days they spend together, the sizzling chemistry they share obviously explodes. The sexy moments are particularly hot! There’s also funny, cute and beautiful scenes between them.
This story is more than just Piper and Matthew fast developing feelings over a weekend. It’s also about family love above all. It demonstrates charmingly that in spite of hard moments and diverging opinions, family is here to support us no matter what.
I enjoyed seeing Piper interact with each family member. She realizes that how they view her isn’t as bad as what she thinks. They just want the best for her even if it doesn’t always go with their own desires.
Temporary Boyfriend is definitely a pleasant story with sparks of heat and steam, but also an unexpected revelation I didn’t see coming. It’s the perfect short holiday read.

I shut off the water but before I can put my toothbrush away, Matthew is standing behind me, pressing his body against me.
