Where the Night Ends was a rollercoaster of feels! All the emotions I felt reading this story was incredible. It’s a story about life, love and all its obstacles.
From the first meeting between Sebastian and Tessa, I already felt the connection they share. Sebastian might be the star quarterback of their high school, but he is also so much more. I liked how he was devoted to Tessa and there wasn’t any doubt that she was special to him. Where the Night Ends depicts the slow build of their romance and travels through all the hurdles they face through the next few years of college.
I felt the book had two distinct parts. The first part is sweet and beautiful with the development of their teenage love. The second part is a real tear-jerker with all the struggles both Sebastian and Tessa face with their untimely love. There’s just too many obstacles to surpass and their timing is never right. I felt my heart break time and time again over the course of the last half of the story. I was always hoping to see them find their way back to each other and their undeniable love.
Melissa Toppen wrote here a great coming of age book with all the feels! Through smiles, laughs and tears you’ll find a great love story!
