K. Webster treated her readers with another surprise naughty novella. Everything is in place for a couple hours of guilty pleasure read. Easton McAvoy, an ex-convict turned preacher, is counseling young Lacy Greenwood after some rough times in her life. Weeks after weeks, stolen moments together only raise the temptation between those two and surrendering to this attraction is inevitable.
While it’s a novella, the author achieves to build a solid story with enjoyable characters and a strong background. The reader gets to explore Easton and Lacy’s past, fears, desires and hopes. It’s primary a really sexy book, but there’s still substance to it. As it’s the norm with K. Webster, she gives us steamy hot moments and passion at its best.
Preach and his Vixen are two improbable characters that circumstances brought together. In spite of the age difference, I really felt the connection the shared. I loved those two and can’t wait for more little taboo romances like this one.
