Review: Remy (Real #3) by Katy Evans --> 4 Stars!
TITLE: Remy
SERIES: Real #3 AUTHOR: Katy Evans GENRES: Contemporary Romance
RELEASE DATE: November 26th, 2013
Underground fighter Remington Tate is a mystery, even to himself. His mind is dark and light, complex and enlightening. At times his actions and moods are carefully measured, and at others, they spin out of control. Through it all, there's been one constant: wanting, needing, loving, and protecting Brooke Dumas. This is his story; from the first moment he laid eyes on her and knew, without a doubt, she would be the realest thing he's ever had to fight for.
I’ve read Real and Mine, the first two books of the Real series, years ago. I still remember the impact Remington Tate had on me and he’s still one of my favorite complex hero to this day. It’s a shame, but I never got to read the following books in the series, until I started Remy a couple days ago. I told myself it was more than time to fix this situation with the release of Racer, coming at the beginning of August.
In Remy, you get every single obsessive thought Remington has about his little firecracker, Brooke. It’s something I wanted to explore so badly, the mind of Remy. It’s raw, obsessive and achingly beautiful and heartbreaking. This book is mostly a retelling of Brooke and Remy’s fairy-tale romance featuring the most important scenes from their love story. But you also get to see some moments in the present on their wedding day.
I revisited these amazing characters and their epic romance with a new eye. Remy is unquestionably a very good complement to the original duet.
