Savage Reckoning is a brilliant read! It starts exactly where Savage Collision ended with an unpredicted situation. It’s really easy to be captivated by the story from the first lines with all the action. I like the introduction of Connick’s point of view in this second book. It helped understand him better. In book one he was a complete mystery and his intentions toward Milanka were hard to trust fully. The connection between them is more palpable than ever, because it’s more than just physical. You’re able to see the feelings they have for each other by the way they act. Even if they don’t quite understand these feelings themselves. The presence of the supporting character is also well done. I really liked Harlin, she’s one intriguing woman that I’d like to learn more about. Savage Reckoning is the perfect conclusion for this duet. You get the suspense, the passion, the love and everything in between with a complex couple. T.L. Smith did very good with this duet!
