This second standalone in the Roommates Series was another sexy read that entertained me very much. Finally finished with college, Evie orchestrates a seduction plan to end up in bed with the sexy Smith, her brother’s best friend. Let’s just say that her scheme doesn’t go as planned and leaves things a little awkward for her. But what she doesn’t know is that after this failed attempt, Smith is obsessed with her. But how can they be together when it’s forbidden? I loved the sizzling hot chemistry between Evie and Smith. They slowly build a strong friendship, but with the underlying burning attraction between them, it was very difficult to keep it platonic. I appreciated that their relationship was mostly about knowing each other better before getting physical, but I must admit that the anticipation was killing me. I wanted them to just jump onto each other already with all this intensity between them! While this read was full of sexiness, it was also filled with funny banters. I really liked this story. It was a relatively short read, so some parts felt a little rushed for me, but I still had a good time reading it.
