This a longer length novella and is the second book in the Sweet series. It is told in dual POV, has an HEA, and no cliffhanger. Since Samantha and Jase are recurring characters from Sweet Temptation and Sweet Love, I recommend reading both books prior to this but it isn’t a must.

This novella was remarkably good! With each new book K.C. Lynn writes, I’m always stunned by her talent. She always achieves to make me feel the blazing affection between her lead protagonists and this new couple had it in spades. Jase and Sam were such a compelling couple to read about. Love the banters between them and the sizzling chemistry they share. This hot firefighter with a dirty mouth and this sassy preschool teacher are the perfect match! They're most definitely one of my favorite couple from this author.
From the very start of the story, I was completely captivated by their undeniable connection. An old rivalry between Jase and Sawyer, Sam's older brother and the star of Sweet Temptation, complicates things but their attraction can't be ignored.
I loved everything about this story. Jase is without a doubt one of my new book boyfriend. He made me swoon so badly! Behind his cocky attitude, there’s a sweet alpha male very protective of his woman. And he has a strange fascination with peaches! Sam has been hurt in the past and Jase provides her a safety she hasn’t felt in a long time.
This book was different from K.C. Lynn’s other works with less action and drama, but as much passion and enthralling characters. The series name isn’t Sweet for nothing. There’s an overload of sweetness in this charming story.
I was sad to see this book come to an end. As always this author transported me on a fascinating and emotional journey where I lost myself in a sweet cocoon of love and tenderness with flashes of sensuality.
