From the moment I caught a glimpse at Paxton and Charlie in the previous books of the Crazy Stupid series, I was so intrigued by them. There always was a chemistry between them and I was really glad to finally see their romance happening in Crazy Stupid Perfection!
When she was eighteen, Charlie had her heart broken by Paxton when he took her virginity and left her the next day. But for both of them, that night changed everything and has been engraved in their mind. In spite of the distance from the last few years, their hearts still belong to each other. Their connection is still present more than ever and a surprising night in Vegas changes their life once again. Paxton still has reticence in engaging in a relationship with her because of his friendship with Charlie’s brother, Gavin.
In this story, they battles with a strong dilemma when faced with this hard decision between following their heart and maybe destroying a friendship or being heartbroken. Their physical attraction is so hot, but there’s also an emotional one that I really felt between them. I loved seeing Gavin acting like the big protective brother with Charlie. You clearly see they have a good relationship, this making it even more difficult for her to think about hiding something this important from him. All the interactions between this gang of friends was still so entertaining.
For its sweetness, hotness and engaging characters this book is once again a new great addition to this series. Melissa Toppen still totally won me with this novel.
